    Survivor Africa?

  3. You must know of it.It's an American"Game" in which you get left in the middle of any place with no civilaization and you have to build up camp. There are two camp's which eventually merge into one.You play until you win.You can get vted out at a tribal council which is every 3 days exept for the last few day's.There are a total of six-teen player's.I live in Cyprus were outdated(Or stuff that has already ended in
America-England.).Also were do you live?It might not be showen in England.Oh and finaly it's full title is:Survivor:Wild Africa(Or something like that.)
Do you know it?Does anyone here know/watch it?

  4. Padine, Survivor isn't just for teens. It's for everyone over 18, which is considered adult.

Unfortunately, since it is american, few people from other continents know what you are talking about. But there are all these different shows very similar like Big Brother, Temptation Island etc.

Btw, I don't watch the show because I think it is the most incredibly stupid waste of a month surviving without any civilization and living with a bunch of other money-desperate, crazy barbarians.

[IMG] All those shows have one thing in common: THEY SUCK. Get your own life, don't watch others!

Actually Sweden was the first ones to come up with it.. though here it was called Robinson.

It's sort of funny to read that they set it in africa, right now there's an ad in the subway that read "one of the members of the South team wants to go home". In fact, it's about giving money to stop starvation in africa, when you read closer.. it is sort of funny how we send people to starve on primetime tv, while the fact that millions of africans are starving at this very moment isn't even worth mentioning in the news.

I cannot stand watching the Survivor/Big Brother TV shows, the make me want to break down and hit something very very hard.

When there is some kind of physiological analysis of the players I can cope.
I can easily find better things to do than watching different groups of people live under artificial conditions for the amusement of the mass.

    Z-Layrex :p

Padine, in America, Survivor Africa ended last December (or was it November?). We have already watched the next installment, Survivor: Marquesas.
Would you like to know who won?

I quite like this whole voyeur theme. It is funny watching people stuck in a small house, or on an island go stark raving mad!

[IMG] Padine, another fun game is the "use two spaces after the end of a sentence and before the beginning of a new one." You should try playing it sometime.

Lol. I never tire of people giving it to Padine. I think he likes the attention.
    [EDIT]
    Observing BTA's comment (with apologies)

Was Robinson teams of people or just one (as in the book Robinson Crusoe)?

Yes, yes, but at least contribute to the topic. If you have nothing to say on the topic, please don't post.

Ah, over here (in England) it was only called 'Survivor' :)
And yeh, the swedish Robinson was a lot better. Tempation Island sucks, and yes do include spaces.

Robinson was teams.. obviously, because I suppose the real charm in that kind of show is listening to everyone backtalk everyone else.

And indeed, temptation island sucks... we even had another show on a similar theme called harem... feel free to make any prejudice assumptions on what it was about, I'm sure they are all correct.
