[IMG] I've been stuck in the scenery (normally walls) a few times while playing NWN but usually during a multiplayer game. On those occaisions another player has deliberately bumped into me and the collision bounced me out of the wall. Unfortunately, I've now become stuck on the edge of a river and can' get out. I can rotate but can't move backwards or forwards. As this is in a single player level there is no one to bump me :(

Anyone got any ideas that might help? For example, is there a ctrl J type command like in BG2 to teleport to a new part of the map? Or can I summon a teleport scroll (if so, how)?

Things I have tried so far include (all with no luck yet):

-Summoning a companion to bump me.
-changing the character skin to a dragon.
    -using the dm_movetoarea command
    -using the dm_jumptopoint command
    -summoning something to kill me

I should point out that the last three didn't work as intended. The dm commands seemed to do nothing (do they only work in DM Client mode?). The summoned creatures all appeared as friendly badgers - so wouldn't attack me.

Any help appreciated as my last non-stuck save was quite a way back just before a near impossible fight that took me hours and a good deal of luck to win :(

Thanks for the tip (the official forum just made the same suggestion) but it still hasn't worked. I guess the game thinks my little bit of land is safe enough (considering the battle ranging up the road it's probably right).

Oh well, back to the nearly impossible fight I guess :(

I've had this happen to me twice as well. In both cases, I was able to save the character, or log off on the server vault, and then just log in, and I was a couple of feet into the room. As I've only done it twice, I can't vouch for it working all the time, but it might work for you. And those commands are only available in the DM client.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately this time was in a single player off-line module so it won't work. I've 'cured' the problem now by going back to the previous save and playing through again. It took quite a while to get to where I was but was less maddening than being rooted to the spot.

    Thanks for all the ideas.

The module itself, which despite this one problem I can highly recommend, was 'Tragedy in Tragidor.'

Well, if it was just in singleplayer, you could just use the Stone of Recall, it worked for me (Just got to hope that there is one in that module)
