[IMG] OK, I got a message quayle wants to see aerie, and when I get to the circus tent, I get stuck in a loop with the two most annoying characters talking about young love. Man, I wish they made nalia a romantic interest, my character doesn't dig elves, especially crybabies.

But I'm stcuk, and I've heard there is a quest quayle gives you. Anybody else had this problem/possible solution?

    Thnx.

Kick that annoying Aerie outta party - that's first and most important thing to do. You don't need that whinning bitch never ever in this game.

Second thing is to go to some Inn in Bridge District (Five Flagons I think), climb downstairs and get that quest from actors.

Extremist is right. You don't have to speak to Quayle to complete this quest. Moreover, you don't even need to watch the shitty play that starts the quest.

How I do this - as soon as I get the sewer key I go up Merkath's tower, kill everything there, then kill Merkath, then when you are about to exit the area Haer'Dalis pops up and sais blah, blah, thanks for saving me, could you also bring to me the Gem Merkath stole from me.
You disarm two traps, get the gem and go to Five Flagons. There you are directly taken to the Planar Prison quest.

When you do it this way it saves a LOT of time you are moving aroung the city (I hate FedEx quests) and you don't have to follow on a couple of useless dialogs.

The same thing happened to me. IIRC there is a small break in the loop so when the dialog ends, press pause and try to leave the tent. This worked for me. This loop can only happen when you´re in love with Aerie I think.

If this doesn´t work - I guess there was an autosave made, when you were entering the tent.

Modjahed, Sewer Key is needed for Illithid secret door.
You don't need it to enter Mekrath's keep.
