Strange Limit to Number of Attacks per round

[IMG] The poor F/M/T looked down on his new sword. "Belm". He already was already specialized in Scimitars and was knowledgable with "use all items". Untill this day he had wielded the Ninja-to from Joulov in Copper Coronet, giving him five attacks per round with his gauntless of exceptional weapon expertice. This new baby could attack much faster than his usual off hand weapon, a scimitar +1. But alas. Frustrated over the fact that he couldn't swing his offhand twice in the round when his main already swung 4 times from the Ninja-to, he thrashed the lightning speed sword "Belm" into the backpack.

He didn't understand this, cause when he used whilrwind attacks he could swing his Ninja-to nine times in a round. So there wasn't any physical limitation to his main arm's capability.
So he tried to ponder on, why his off hand would jam and just hit once per round, when his main hand could normally hit four times and nine times if he really edged himself!

The most absurd and remotely funny part was, when he got a heavier and clumsier weapon than the Swift Ninja-to in his main hand. Then, and only then, could he suddenly swing his off-hand twice in a round if wielding Belm. What a strange irrational world, he pondred.

He still ponders why this is so. Why? Oh dear oh dear.

The experienced Kensai looked in his Tome of Answers to Questions Players don't Like to Ask (or TAQPLA for short), that he was given from the old sage Elminster.

Most of the text was written in a foreign language, but some part of the text made sence.

"Players experiencing troubles with dual wielding and attacks per round should look at their weapons Speedfactor."

From here on in this chapter the text makes no sence. At the beginning of the second chapter the text can again be read easily.

"If these players don't have any profiency slots assigned to a type of weapon that they are using, then they will suffer penalties for using that particular weapon."

Using your Use All Item ability you are able to understand another part of the text.

"If the answers written in this tome do not provide any useable help, then the players would be wise to contact Bioware (my main informants) at the following e-mail address. Bginfo@bioware.com"

The Tome of Answers to Questions Players don't Like to Ask (TAQPLA) contains no more information on this subject.

    :):D:):D:):D:)

The TAQPLA is a tome of unspeakable wisdom, but this dusty scroll found in the ancient underground maze of Candlekeep might provide part of the answer. It is a less well known prophecy of Alaundo:

When chaos descend upon the lands, the dead god's mortal progeny will find themselves incapable of attacking more than five times every six seconds without the aid of spells, and they shall find the rule incredibly stupid.

The scroll also lists notes, to make it easy for future chanters, but that is of no relevance here.

This is a truly AWESOME way of posting replies, I think I might consider writing all my replies in this way...

[IMG] Isn't it possible to patch this with Infinity engine, or do I need some other program to erase the limit? I hate absurd rules. Those without logic.
