Right now, I'm about to leave the Ice Temple in Chapter 2, but for some reason, when I load my game, all the HP numbers have disappeared from the small pics. The HP bar still moves if damaged or healed, but the numbers won't come back. Also, if I load an earlier save, the same thing happens. Any ideas?

There is a hot key to change the appearence of the character portraits (off the top of my head I think its "P") showing hp#s or not. The systems remembers your last request. Just change it back./

Unfortunately, none of those hot-keys did anything. Any other ideas?

Its "." by default...go look in the hotkey binding settings for what you have it configured as...

If you custom-set "." for something else, it could be possible that hitpoint display has no hotkey assigned for the function, hence no key is doing anything.

Again, look through the hotkey settings and change Hit-Point display to an appropriate key. It should work.

If not, IIRC there's a spell which causes you to gain strength and constitution bonuses but not know how many hitpoints you have...Emotion: Rage or Blood Rage or something like that.

Could be your characters have that cast on them?? But this seems to be too much of a long shot...

Does anyone have a Wall of Iron spell handy, so I can bash my head in? In the Keyboard menu, there is a spot for "Toggle Portrait Hit Points", set to ".". I must've pushed it some time and not realized it, then reloaded and thought it was a bug. Thanks very much Faraaz, I didn't know that could be done. I'm off to remove that hot-key right now, so it won't happen again! :)

I would just like to say how much i loved that line! (never understood why anyone would ever play with the graphical display anyways... though it does feel much more "rpg'ish" .. hmm... i gotta try that next time!)
