i haven't found a mod for this but maybe there's one out there with all the other appearance tweaks, it seems this one would be right up there with removing character helms. Is there a mod that removes appearance changes from items with spell effects or all spell effects? i have an item that gives freedom of movement but my character flashing gold 24/7 is EXTREMELY annoying lol.

Which item was that? I don't recall one that did that. However, if I knew which item, it shouldn't be too difficult to use DLTCEP to alter the item to remove the effect.
