Still stuck in Nalia quest...

Is there really no one out there who can help me with that problem?? As I posted earlier, I'm about to free Nalia by giving evidence of Roenall's slave tradery & tax offenses to his leutnant, but I just get the dialogue option "sorry, I'm off" What exactly is missing or what have I done wrong? Please help!!

 

Not sure, doing this one myself but isn't one I'm too concerned about with doing it. It's a stupid quest if you ask me, running around all the time for this bloody Stronghold I never use.

I've gotten information about gems and information about slaves for this guy, there is one other thing but I haven't come across it yet. (not do I want to know, so please don't spoil

I don't know what the problem is or what gaurd your talking about. I just busted into his house, stole all his worldly possessions, and left. I talked with a man in the goverment headqaurters and got Nalia back, only to later ditch her in the bottom of the asylum...

 

This quest just sucks... I stole the records, got the slave document and this major league ... captain just tells me I need to make an appointment in order to talk with him; Maybe that is what I did wrong? Do I need to get an appointment?? if yes, who is responsible for this? I hate being stuck in a game for that long

 

There's a pirate standing near the Sea's Bounty Tavern whom you're supposed to talk to, then you present three pieces of evidence to Axehand, the slave documents, the financial documents, and the pirate's statement. I think his name's Brag, or something like that.

 

This is how i did the Nalia quest or whatever.

She got Kidnapped and a guard told me where Roenal lived. I grabbed his Tax Book but that wasn't enough to get Naila back. So i went to talk to Barg this contact in the Docks District near Xar. He's drunk and tells me of another contact at the Sea Bounty Tavern. He attack us and we kill him, getting a Letter proving Roenal is working slave labor, i bring that back to the Commander and he lets Naila go and Further investigation on Roenal is to begin.

hmmm, I suppose this is some sort of bug, I got all these items and stuff, but this officer just refuses talking to me. well, but it doesn't matter since nalia is a lousy character.. her thiefing skills suck and Imoen replaces her as mage quite well; it just bugs me that I can't solve the quest

 

I had to give up on this quest as I could not get the slavery document. I think in my case it's some sought of bug as I believe I found the right man.

 

I've found a lot of bugs in BG2 concerning the triggering of quests and people and events during them. Keep a back up save is the only advice i can give there.

 

I'm struggling with finding Barg, too. I think if I can find him, I'll be ok.

If I go into the Sea Bounty with Jaheria, I know bad things happen, though. So I'll gain my mage, but get a puking druid on my hands.

Let Jaheira wait outside the Sea-Bounty to stop the curse-quest. When Ployer doesn´t meet her, he can´t curse her
