    [​IMG] I can't believe it! The governor of my home state declared a state of emergency for today...and possibly tomorrow!

    It's ridiculous...The wind hasn't even started blowing, and everything is closed today. No work, no $$...Sir Bel is bitter. Hell, I'da been home in three hours anyway!!!

    Isabel was thoroughly anticlimactic here in Pennsylvania. As usual, the storm that everyone was anticipating and preparing for did far, FAR less damage than the one that no one saw coming (Monday afternoon - see here )

    And NO, that wasn't due to the quality of the preparations!

    [​IMG] It was anticlmactic here as well...Just wind and rain and the office is closed...What a world we live in...When did we become such wusses?

    On a positive note, I did get a chance to do a little digital editing of some photos I took. I also looked at the new Digital Rebel camera from Canon...I think I am getting one!

    I rather suspected that Isabel would be somewhat of a dud and it certainly sounds like I was right. I can't believe that everyone was (and some people still are :rolleyes: ) panicking about it up here in Canada. The second I heard about school closures I just about died laughing!

    Well it wasnt a dud here in baltimore.Alot of the city is under water right,you may have seen pictures on the news.I was suprised at how much damage we took here and it was only a storm by the time it got to us.
