[IMG] I'm just about to start a new game of BG2 SoA, and I'm thinking about going through ToB as well, though I might not. Anyhow, I'm having some difficulties in creating/choosing a party. I'm thinking about playing a Stalker once again, since it was one om my most enjoyable play-throughs ever.

I've mostly played with evil partys, normally including Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, Jan and myself, in ToB I usally pick up Sarevok. However, as a Stalker I've got no choice but going kind-hearted. Any tips of a "fun" party, possibly with multiplayer-created characters.

I know it's kind of a hard question to answer, it's just that I really, really don't feel like playing with "the usual" good (or evil) partys(Minsc, Keldorn, Imoen, Aerie, Jaheira, PC). They could be included of course... well I'm not quite sure what I'm rambling about here; help me out!

    Mixing things up:

Minsc, Anomen, Keldorn, and Jan together are a riot.

Everybody (even Nalia) has really good comments to Edwina. Minsc is great with Edwina.

Aerie, Jaheira and Viconia together make things interesting (just don't be an elf).

Mazzy and Korgan are fun together (include Aerie for more fun -- but don't count on her staying).

Get yourself in a love triangle with Aerie and HD. It will either end the romance with Aerie or you'll get rid of HD, but it's fun. You need to get HD quickly though.

Cernd gets along with everyone. He can be a challenge to use, but once he gets greater werewolf he's quite powerful. The Shapeshifter rebalancing mod will make him the most powerful NPC in the game (with the mod I believe his greater werewolf could take on the slayer).

    Odd party:
    Stalker
    Mazzy
    Cernd
    Haer'Dalis
    Aerie

Jaheira, Jan, Anomen, Keldorn, and (your choice of) Nalia (boring), Imoen (you've go without her a while), or Kelsey (third party Sorcerer, a very good mod though).

You'd have a mostly good (and all good-hearted) party this way.

If you do choose Immy as your mage, make sure you use the time before getting her to have fun with a rotating NPC slot. You'll get a ton of extra banters and some extra quests this way!

I had a blast with Korgan, Jan, Mazzy, Haer'Dalis, and Imoen. But my PC was a Cleric so if you are a Stalker you would need to tade out one for a Devine spell caster. the one I would boot is Imoen because she brings little in the way of fun to the table. (Your "GOOd" reason for leaving her behind is that she has suffered enough through this adventure)
