I haven't gotten this far yet, but I'm going to poison the druid grove during the Trademeet quest. How will Jaheira and/or Cernd react to me doing this?

I don't know about Cernd and Jaheira, but Lord Coprith is decidedly unhappy with you - you get no reward from him for solving the quest this way, and you also take a rep hit. However, seeing as how Jaheira and Cernd are druids, I can't see how the reaction could be even remotely favorable.

Jaheira and Cernd will both leave your party if you poison the grove - *and* they'll take a bunch of your other good-aligned NPCs with them. Then they'll all attack you. Hmm, I think Aerie does the same, or if not Aerie then one of the other NPCs.

Okay. (Sorry about this Beren. Don't read the next line.) I'm working on letting the curse kill Jaheira, so she won't be in the party much longer.

What happens with Faldorn? Does she still get challenged by Cernd if I got this route? If the challenge doesn't happen, can I pick up Cernd after poisoning the grove?

I poisoned the Grove without Cernd in my party, and when I went to talk to him in the Grove after, I got the "X has nothing to say to you" message, so I'm guessing you won't be able to pick him up. Of course it might also be because my rep was at 3. Either way, I doubt Cernd would talk to you let alone join you.

Jaheira didn't say anything about the poisoning, so I'm off to save her from Ployer's curse and won't need Cernd to replace her. I'll talk to him later when I clean up the troll village and see if he'll join. Just remember, some of these druids are 'evil' Shadow druids. :p
