[IMG] I could not persuade the Spectator Beholder in my last game. I followed the dialogue choices as usual, when I asked him 'Are you SURE I can not look at the chest?' he replied as usual, 'if a beholder is guarding it, it has to be COOL!' then the dilague ends abruptly, he tells me to bugger off and there is no choice but 'END dialogue'.

Why? Do I need some ability scores? My WM has 18 INT, 12 WIS and 15 CHA. Or is this some sort of bug? Why? In the end, I killed the funny guy (who yelled 'Aaah NOO help!' Some Beholder he is!) but I felt sorry. Hmm, I now wonder what will happen when I meet him again in ToB. Do not spoil the suprise please! :shake:

Anyway, second thing:Those Blind Priests in Unseeing Eye's Lair. I was happily killing them with ease, when I noticed two of them had no red circles under their feet. Heck, they did not have ANY circles. Which means I could not target them with weapons or spells, yet they could cast spells and harm my party. I thought it was a bug, casted a True Sight, to no avail. Then I managed to kill them via area effect spells. A few fireballs, courtesy of my WM, Immy, and Kelsey, and they were roasted. But I still wonder why they were, practically unkillable by weapons and single target spells?

    Any clue would be appreciated.

Yes, you do need WIS (13 or more, ironically) to get that option for the Spectator. You can also get by with just having Haer'Dalis, Edwin, or Cernd in the party and they'll answer for you.

As for the priests, I'd bet on one or more of your many mods.

Oh really? 13 WIS? Missed by an inch, I guess. Well shame on my wisdom. :p Thank you for clearing the confusion, I feared one of my mods had corrupted the dialogue.

As for the priests, yes I guess you are right. It was annoying though. I certainly hope I will not face such a bug again.
