I've found a good server for NWN and was thinking of getting a small adventuring party together of maybe around half a dozen people.
It's a semi persistant world and the players in it believe in good roleplaying.

If we can agree to some time for the sessions that is. Myself i'm GTM+1 and i can tell, i'm having some serious trouble playing at 2am with those from USA that are not euro-friendly.

So, count me in and consider the GTM+1 timezone.

 

Well, I'm in the GMT zone so that shouldn't be a problem, and a LOT of the players on the server are GMT +1 as well.

 

Might as well count me in. GMT+1.

I wanna be a fighter or roguish type.

In the meanwhile, Vermillion (hey, you started it! ) if you know any DMs there could you send them a mail to let them know we're coming to p0wn their server?

 

Funnily enough when I was last online and playing NWN I got to know a few of them, and yep, some are still there. I don't advise the p0wn or whatever it was the server though, remember, it's an RP server.

Have enough experience RPing with playing ALFA for over a year now, so dont worry on that account

Ok, have had an, 'opportunity' passed to me to be part of something big that coincidently would the perfect party idea. If you go to the Taliv forums and read up on the deities it's Nocturnae iirc that the party would be built around if you're up for it. There's currently a player beginning to rebuild a temple to her. Who wants to join the dark side? You get to eat all the sweeties you want and stay up as late as you want if you do
You all up for a group of her followers doing the high priestess' bidding?

 

Ooh my paladin died against some rats...and candy and no bed times, sound irresistible. I'm all for the dark side.

which class are people going to play? just so we all don't play the same class

 

I'm up for being evil. I think I'll be a Monk/Rogue or something.

 

Hmm, i really dont know what class yet. I guess i'll just adapt to what you guys will pick and create a class that'll suit the party best.

Well, we're four people now, would that be enough? We really should get together in the chatroom or something to discuss this more.

 

I'm using Lady Shylannis Torcannae a mage/rogue if you see me in Taliv, just give me a holler. Incidently, visit the training halls with a new char, I got told that you can get up to 5000 XP with a starting char there to help you survive just by hitting training dummies.

So far Shylannis has made contact and indeed has been accepted into the fold so to speak by the high ups in the faith who are PC's .

Edit: DOH! forgot to say, I'll be in the chatroom at around 10 pm GMT tonight if you guys want to discuss. And if anyone else wants to join in a couple more players wouldn't hurt

Yep thats the godess that we're basing the party around if everyones up for it. Also there's apparently a gap for evil chars right now.
Mind you there's evil and there's the kind of evil we're gonna be if we do this . Sneeeeeeeeaky

 

technically Nocturan is a god not a goddess, he is the twin brother of coronan

 

I am a bit interested in this, especially since it is a GMT based game. I have to get my copy of NWN back from my little brother though. What version of the game do you need and do you use a lot of hakpaks and the like?
