Well, we've survived the 2005 E3 with little or no damage... For SP, this year's E3 was really the calmest in a long time, considering a grand total of one upcoming D&D game was presented, namely Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach. Atari has apparently decided to save some cash by not showing Dragonshard or Neverwinter Nights 2, which, at least in the case of Dragonshard, was a dumb move. Dragonshard has been given little exposure ever since it's been announced, and I have a feeling that once released, it'll slide by unnoticed relatively quickly. Neverwinter Nights 2, of course, needs little exposure - the name alone guarantees all the recognition the game will ever need. Still, not showing it at E3 when it is the only D&D title currently slated for 2006 is pretty silly. And no, still no word about Baldur's Gate 3, before anyone asks.

Oh, in case you've missed it, check out our Eye of the Beholder Neverwinter Nights module review.

Maybe Dragonshard will go the way of Demon Stone . . . . .
