SOU: What cantrips for elemental wells?

    I'm in the basement of the gnoll cave, looking for the elven sorcress J'Nah. (The quest for the dragon tooth). There are four doors, each representing an element, halls being marked with colours behind them, mephits and an elemental waiting at the end of each. But there are also an elemental well in each of the halls, where my spellcaster is supposed to cast cantrips (according to a parchment found on a goblin).

    I've managed the water well, where the cantrip was flare - it gave me something I could summon a water elemental with. But for the air well I've tried all the cantrips (there are seven of them, aren't there?) - but none works. I found a walk through that said it was acid splash, but that doesn't work. Anybody know which spell to use?

    I was only able to get one of the wells to work for me. I believe that there may be a limit of one. I ended up choosing the earth elemental. IIRC, it was Flare for the earth well as well.

    I'm not sure of this though, as I was playing a bard with access to only 5 cantrips.

    I had the same experience so I imagine that you are correct with regards to the one well limit.
