Ok, I downloaded some stuff for a game. A trainer, add-ons, etc. Each item came in a zip file. I extracted everything to a new folder. In there is the trainer (or other item) a text document explaining where the file came from, the author, etc and then there is one or more "MSInfo Documents"
I have Windows XP Professional. The icon for that file looks like a flat computer monitor with an exclamation point inside a circle in front of the monitor.
Also, in the text document, it says that anyone who includes this trainer, etc on their web site for download, must include the MSInfo Document with the download.
    Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know what this is, too. Every time I try to open such file it says, that the file can't be open, and a sort of system configuration appears.

[IMG] What is the extension on the file? If it's *.nfo it's just a regular text file, you can open it with Notepad or any text viewer. The nfo extension goes back ages when it was standard inclusion in every warez distribution (actually, it still is today). Windows today use the same extension for registry files, however, so this might create confusion for those who don't know what those files were for originally.

Anyway, just view it and see for yourself. There's usually some fancy ASCII art in there with the credits for the warez group which released the trainer or whatever. (Yes, the first trainers are usually made by the warez groups.)
