Found it!

Prompt opens a new window to fill the text inside, but Inline just drops the UBB code in the text without the question.

For example, try both modes with bold or quote to see it.

What's a sticky?

 

Sticky rambling


It is a thread that is always on the top until:
- mod removes it's "sticky" property
- the timer of it being sticky expires

Of course, such is on the other forums, details for SP should be provided by Tal.
I don't know if ordinary member can set the thread to be sticky, but the mods can.

There are currently three sticky threads in this forum - this one is one of those.
Spot the icon in front of them, it's yellow "paper" with a silver pin.

And don't miss the De-top on the bottom of this thread. Click on it to see what it gives.

The threads that are not sticky have Top at the bottom.

This doesn't apply to older threads unless someone posts something inside. We'll have to wait till Tal "recompiles" the boards or whatever to make it on each page.
Btw, "recompiling" would be nice Tal - older threads still have those nasty monkey pop-ups...lol

Ok, I've checked it, ordinary member can use Top issue (to "bump" the thread), but not De-top one.
I tried it with the Nuns on the Run, if you watch on the date and time closely, you'll see it's "up" although it's older than some other threads below it.

It is the temporary sticky of course. That's why you won't see the sticky icon in front of it.
Ordinary member can't make thread as permanent sticky. Only mods.
