Some bugs?

    Hi there

    Got me a fighter ranger4/8 and fighter paladin 4/7 and both have had 2 first level spells for like 2-3 levels and they don't gain any more spells for some reason, both with 14 wis.

    Ranger has black dragon mail of somesort, which is a light armor, but he can't cast his spells in it. He can with leather armor.

    Got the latest patch and some of the ease of use stuff installed. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

    never mind about the pally, she got her 2nd level spells at lvl8 but ranger, should get those spells at lvl8 too, am I right?

    I recommend looking at the ranger/paladin spell progression table in the back of your manual.

    ok did that, and well according to manual pallys and rangers should get their second lvl spells at lvl10, well my lvl8 pally got his second lvl spells already though :S

    and that still doesn't explain why my ranger can't cast spells wearing one light armor and can wearing another:S

    The paladin/ranger spell table doesn't differ between "0 spells per day but you can have a bonus spell" and "impossible to cast at this level" like the bard spell table does. I guess your ranger can get a level 2 bonus spell at level 8 too.

    For the armor (I don't know if it was added it with EoU) just add a "spellcasting is impossible while wearing it" to its description. Rangers usually can cast spells even in heavy armor.

    The thing is, that my ranger didn't get 2n'd level spells at lvl8, didn't get them at lvl9 either. While pally got hers at lvl8 and can cast them.

    I might have added that armor with the mod, I think I installed the part about the armors that didn't make it into the game, in which case it just might be unfinished or smthing.

    [​IMG] iirc the paladin spell progression table is wrong in the manual. I can't remember where it was mentioned either, I'll try and look it up for you.

    Also as I understand it only the Bard gets bonus spells like that, kmonster.

    I also believe dragon mail is medium armour and not light. :hmm: I hsall have to check this as well.
