[IMG] After delving into the Druid class thanks to the discussion of a couple of threads I have been thinking. Would you try to solo a Druid through BG1 maybe takeing on one or two NPCs for breif periods of time? Would you contemplate takeing a Druid solo through the whole game and how would you go about it?

It probably isn't something I'd be likely to go for, but I can't see any major problem with going for it. You will have healing spells and a not too bad spell selection.

To go through the whole game, you'll need summons. Once you gain Summon Fire Elemental at level 6, the game will become a whole lot easier.

It is hardly the most powerful class, but it is far from impossible.

:skeptic: Druids don't get that spell in this game.

Hmm, a misunderstanding as to what Bassil meant. By 'whole game' I thought he meant the entire series, hence my comment.

However, now you mention it, it looks more like he meant the whole of BG. Oops.

On the other hand, the advice still applies to anyone who would want to solo the entire thing.

Actually, I have soloed a druid. Using darts (having to purchase hundreds of normal darts for use) and the Dagger of Venom, it ended up about as easy as any other solo.

I gave it a try. If you use the Druid to thier full potential it isn't that bad, actually it is quite enjoyable. They level up fast and just taking on an NPC once in a while helps a lot. I am not to the final battle yet but I am hopeful about it. anyony have any advice on it?
