So, what's up with the seven Cowled Wizards sitting at the table in the ending cinematic to SoA? I've heard that it was meant to foreshadow ToB, but I never quite figured it out...though at one point I suspected they were the Five, perhaps two more included. Any ideas as to their whereabouts?

I got the feeling that those guys came to the conclusion that we were "doomed" and "there was no escape", and that all they had to do was watch our downfall. Showed them, didn't we? :D

[IMG] That sign on their table - had it any meaning?

Are they cowled wizards? How do you know this?

[IMG] Actually, they are not Cowled Wizards. They're powerful Bhaalspawn, just like you. The thing is, back then when they made the epilogue they had no idea what the powerful Bhaalspawn in ToB would be (Fire Giants, Dragons etc as we now know), so they had them all around the table as humans. That's why it's so confusing.

The above is official info, not my theory, btw.

That's right! It wouldn't have any meaning if they were cowled wizards. I thought that they're were some of the gods, but Tal's solution
    seems correct to me.

[IMG] Its just a pity the series has ended...:sosad: it would have been great if they made a HUGE game of he aftermath (if you chose the "option" at the end ;) ) where you could go adventuring as you pleased. That whould be SO cool . But alas.... they wont :wail::wail:

Yeah, that'd be cool, though I doubt they would come up with a good story to it. I mean, something must happen or it's not (that) interesting to play. I also doubt that walking the land with a high-level party such as that you finished ToB with would be very fun... Perhaps if the main character isn't Gorion's ward, but you can meet him/her in the game?
But you're right Enthasius, that'll probably never happen.:(
