Smacking Noober

Discussion in 'Baldur's Gate (Classic)' started by Seric Exz, Mar 29, 2001.

When last I cheerfully smacked dear old Noober around, I began to wonder; how do "lawful good" people get around this ...problem?
Knocking people unconscious (or killing them outright) simply for being ...eh... *verbose* is perhaps a little unlawful, yes?
(Is there a way to deal with this guy that has eluded my ever so quick eye?)

Just wondering if anyone had an opinion on this?

[IMG] When I met him I punched him to make him shut up. The Nashkel guards joined in on MY side and riddled him with arrows - I guess he really is that annoying.

If you talk to him enough you get xp when he gives up and has nothing to say. I suggest that you go to him when you have six party members. Surround Noober and pause, have each member talk to him, when they each have, do it again until he is all taked out. Hey, free XP!

When I met the talkative fellow in Nashkel I gave 'im a good slug in the face to shut 'im up. Apparently it was a very good slug because he went a bit unconscious. Then Viconia's AI got the best of her and she unexpectedly offered him up to Shar.

I used "Hold Person", very good spell against this annoying feller.

To knock someone out attack them with the fist icon highlighted in your quick weapons bar. You might have to put a weapon into your backpack to make this avalible.

Also, you must remember to turn your party AI off, or your party members will attack...

The first time i ran into that fellow i though he would never shut up so i had minsc do it for him. A few swings and poor noober ignited into chunkes. His brains now paint the roadways.
