There are a couple of guys in the slums that you run into (quite literally) if you proceed northeast from the main entrance of the Copper Cornet. Ones a human fighter, and the other is either a dwarven or gnomish thief. I think that one of them is named Corvale or something like that. They also refer to someone (presumably an employer) known as "Mr. F." My encounter with them is always brief, and usually violent. Who is this "Mr. F" that they refer to, and moreover, is there any point to them being in the game other than a couple of yahoos to lay the smackdown on?

No idea who "Mr. F" is, though I always wondered myself. Off the top of my head, the only important character whose name starts with an F is Firkraag, but why would they work for him? I always assumed that they worked for the slavers.

As for their use in the game, I don't think they have one. Beside getting their asses handed to them on a platter, that is.

Oh, and the other guy's name is Bregg or something like that, IIRC.

I always thought Mr. F is Firkraag and that the episode is a half-hearted attempt to hint that Firkraag may not be a good guy.

Maybe "Mr F" means nothing... or maybe it was one of those quests that was cut from the final version of the game. Hopefully it might pop up in a future version of the Unfinished Business mod.

Mr Firkraag, I would say that because Firkraag is inside the copper cornet and the two monkeys are standing outside.

You know them two guys are just so annoying, when I am soloing with tactics mods and things like that I always run into them at the start and get whipped real bad depending on my class.

I agree that they are probably working for Firkragg, and they are a pain when soloing, depending on your class. It is anoying to have to go around them until you are high enough level to defeat them.

uhm ... you know that gaelans little errand boy takes you around those 2 ? just choose dialogue option to take you to your strongholdquestintroducer which is either the door of the coronet more south or the slums exit. anyway you never have to run into those two.

maintopic : i think they are some of firkraags bandits according to behavior.

Either that or they could be a cell of those Evil Zhentarim or simply peasants (all dressed up) not able to get tickets for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy! :p :D :p

Maybe they wanted to say Mr.T. but written F :D I also think they refer to Firkraag, by the way. Those two guys are idiots, they always attack me. One of them has relatively good HP IIRC.
