Slowdown Fix & Subraces

    just purchased winzip to enable the goblin warren slowdown fix and subraces. I have these files in my "override" folder, but i still have the same slowdown problem and i don't even have the subraces enabled. Did i miss something. a good step-by-step would prove most useful and will be most appreciated. thank you thanks

    about the slowdown, sorry i have never used one, so i dont know how to use it.

    but about the subraces, is it the one from sorcerers that has the gold elf etc.? because you have to have Setup-IWD2-subraces-beta1.exe file in your ID2 folder.
    When you are in it, it will say "This mod contains 8 distinct components ... What should be done with all components that are
    NOT YET installed?"
    Reply "Ask about each one". After that you should choose 6 subraces among 8 human/elf subraces. hope this helps!

    [​IMG] Actually, WinZip is a free download, you needn't buy it to be able to use it. But anyway, the slowdown fix zip has extensive instructions in the readme text file.

    The short version - simply copy all of the bcs files from the zip archive into your override folder and run the game.

    [​IMG] Are you talking about the second level of the goblin warrens being choppy and slow when unpaused and playing? If so, how do you fix that again. Thought i should just post here rather than go looking for it.
