Slayer Problems

    Whenever I turn into the Slayer, I take damage until I die. (I know I'm supposed to take damage, but it's not supposed to kill me every time). With adroit use of friendly clerics, I've gotten up to the 5th round of taking damage, but after that I still die.

    Is this normal? A bug? Is there something I can do to stop this?

    I know if you don't change back to your character after a few rounds you die automatically. You are giving into your dark desires, and if you stay the slayer too long, you end up losing your humanity (or demi-humanity as the case may be). I don't know the extra length of time you have to change back to human, but 5 rounds sounds about right.
