Is there a trick to maintain the slayer form?
or get unlimited changes?

 

Eh no. If you spend too long in Slayer form (timer) : Game Over!
Do you already have the power to change into a Slayer? If so: save game - open in SK - Innate Tab - Give yourself as many Slayer Change xMem as you want (<99). I'd give you the innate ability spell code but I cant find it right now.

 

Remember that your Rep takes a hit everytime you change...

BTW, am I the only one who willingly uses that Slayer change only once in the entire game (or no times if I'm playing a Berserker!)?

 

i already know of all that stuff..

i've tried most things to prolong the slayerform.
every reputation start point there is...
but i guess there is no way unless i lear about hex editing and whatnot..

 

I guess,though I never tried,protection from magic energy spell MAY make you immune to damage you take when you are in Slayer form.(it makes you immune to pure magical damage such as a horrid wilting spell,magic misile,or in this case,the damage you take in Slayer form.)Though you will still be killed when the timer is out.I don' believe there is a way to do it.I only hope this helps you.

No, I don't use the Slayer Change unless I'm forced to...

 

I'm always using Slayer change whenever I want to when playing solo. When playing in the party, it's not possible because of the reputation problem.

 

The Slayer change...I never use it unless I'm just having fun. I think that the PAIN that it inflicts should be less and when you turn back, it will be over. Like, no more pain when you turn back into a human.

 

I'm sure I heard of a way to maintain the Slayer form constantly. You have to be a wizard with Find Familiar. Start a new game, use Find Familiar to gain the HP, and restart the game, importing the same character. Repeat until you have about 200HP, then use a Chain Contingency full of Tenser's Transformation. Then Slayer Change, and wait. It does you loads of damage, but you can take this amount, and stay always as Slayer.

I read this somewhere, but I can't remember where. It's incredibly cheesy.

 

@Alavin: WOW ! Must try it sometime. It's even cheesier than using cheat combination ctrl-R to be able "always shapeshift".

 

Or you could just increase your Hp in shadow keeper and save a hell of a lot of time.
You could also increase your Hp to over 1000.

 

iirc it does not matter how much HP you have. Once the slayer change timer expires, you are dead & GAME OVER

 

I use the Slayer change to reduce my rep so that the evils in my party don't split on me.

Does the slayer change timer work on a strictly per-use basis or an overall 'time-spent-as-slayer' basis? I mean does the timer start ticking only after each change or does it keep track from the first time you use the ability and then after 'X' time of being teh slayer overall it kills you?

 

yep, i do the same. i also use it in the final battle with irenicus though
