How many of you use skins and skin themes? My current one is "Longhorn" for WindowBlinds and Object bar. Not my favorite though; "Copper Deck II" is that. So, what skin theme can you recomend? Where did you download it?

If you do not use any skinning programs, why?

Skinning is used to change the way Windows looks, and in some cases, like DesktopX, to alter how it behaves -it´s just about eye candy.

Ps. Could someone tell me did Rodenka complete his BG 2 theme? (Use search 'Skins' to find out what I mean) The download links he supplied do not work -no surprise.

[IMG] I use LightBlue for WindowsBlinds, while I make my own Green/Gray and Orange/Gray themes.
I use a really slick theme for WinAmp, I can't remember what it's called at the moment but it makes it look like a Hi-fi system, Chrome with a changable LCD colour. Awesome.

I also use T-Clock for my Taskbar, which is great. Get it if you can.

Ah, i miss read the topic. I though it said skins and skinning up :shake:

    One tracked mind. Who me?

Oh, the on topic bit -

I used to use winamp skins and stuff, and often used desktop themes. But now i don't use winamp and i just set a nice pic of nudey models on my desktop. I just dont find half of the skins / icons and stuff as functional as the plain windows ones, unfortunately.

The only thing I skin is the Trillian chat client program. That's the only thing I think needs to be skinned...unless I decide to install the evil WinXP, then I'd have to skin everything so it wouldn't look so stupid! :rolling:

The only program that I use with a custom skin is Winamp; I used a Pearl Jam skin downloaded on this site, wich is moderated by a friend of mine:
