    [​IMG] So, I spoke with the bookseller, and followed along until he wanted blood. He then says "You'll be crossing the runes soon enough", and walks off. I figured it was time for him to pass the bar, so I took him out. Should I have let him live?

    Depends if your party is evil or not. If your evil, and if get the human flesh armour and the blood of a silver dragon, you get a very nice leather armour +5 (IIRC), however this can only be worn by evil people, and killing the lawful good dragon is not something a good/neutral party would do.

    If you don't want the human flesh armor he can make for you, there's no problem in it. Only evil chars can use it anyway, but 20% magic resistance is always nice to have...

    [​IMG] Yeah, the bookseller is no more. I wish you could loot his inventory after you kill him! +5 Leather Armor is pretty good, but the Night's Gift is +5 leather, too. Pretty good. Where is the silver dragon you're supposed to get the blood from anyway? Can you encounter a friendly dragon if you don't want the blood? That would be cool.

    You encounter the silver dragon in the underdark no matter what your alignment. She gives you a quest, and disguises your party so that you can infiltrate the drow city.

    You find the silver dragon in the underdark. It is as a*nonchromatic* dragon a *GOOD* one so consider wisely what you do.
    The armor made of human flesh and the silver dragon blood is pretty cool for a leather one, it gives:
    - +4 on all rescue thorws
    - 20% magicresistance
    - AC: 3
    - Weight: 5
    So for an evil thief character it is a great piece of armor. IMHO only the Shadow-dragon armor (AC: 1/ 50% acid resistance) is much better.

    [​IMG] I assumed it was good, but everyone says it's lawful good so I'll go along with that. Besides, I didn't kill her. I SHOULD'VE though... I got her damn eggs back, killing the whole Ust Natha in the process and out of her hoard of magical goodies, she fives me a crossbow, what the hell right? Why not a long sword or a 2-handed sword or a hammer or a bloody CHOICE, like Tiernon in IWD-HoW? Crossbow...sheesh.

    But if you had Keldorn, like me, that crossbow comes damn handy!
    He already has 2 profslots in crossbow, so he can use it and I have to say it is a pretty good one!

    [​IMG] I gave Keldorn the Crossbow of Giant Hair, or whatever. I think its +4 or something, the one in the Ad's Mart. Is there a better one than that? He can deal damage with it well into the double digits per strike.
