Short Swords?

    What is the best Short Swords? The best I've ever found are:
    Short Sword of Mask +4
    Cutthrout(lame spelling) +4
    Short Sword of Backstabbing +3
    Arbane's Sword +2

    Are there any better ones?

    Kundane +2 from the planar prison offers a very low initiative and 1 extra attack. Nice weapon.

    I would rank my fav short swords as follows:
    1. Arabane's Sword +2 because of free movement (and haste iirc)
    2. Kundane +2 because of the extra attack
    3. For all enemies you can't hit with +2 weapons I choose cutthroat +4 or the Shortsword of Mask

    Nope.
    • You find Arabane +2 is on an inbetween-map, it's this red shortsword you find on the body of some moron stupid enough to waylay you on your way through Atkathla (nice little fight btw :) you encounter them at the beginning usually).
    • You find Kundane +2 in planar prison on a pretty capable though recently died enemy.

    Oops, Ragusa! I know where to find Arbane... just don't know why I wrote it in Planar Prison???? Ghee, my brain is kaputt :lol:. Well, anyway, thanks for the help, and I do know where Arbane is.. just a little tired right now :D.

    Pardon my language but DAMMIT! I have been looking for Kundane my entire multiplayer game! I havent found it! I had a notion that it should be in the planar prison but nooooo! It wasnt there! It is not the first weapon that "disapeared" when playing TDD. The Wyvern flail just disapeared too, even though it isnt a great weapon it should have been on the party in sewers! :mad:
    Kundane is the best shortsword in both SoA and ToB if you are dualwielding so I am a tad mad that it isnt there in TDD :mad: :flaming:
