Brokenpixel has posted a positive review of the first Neverwinter Nights expansion, Shadows of Undrentide. Here is what they had to say.

Of course, the core of any good game is it’s gameplay, and this is where Shadows of Undrentide shines. With the ability to role-play good, evil and everything in between throughout the game, there is a very solid pen-and-paper feel here that far surpasses that offered up in the original NWN.

For example one of the first quests the play may embark upon is to gather some medicinal herbs from the local herbalist. It turns out he lacks one of the ingredients and send you over to the local pub to talk to the chef who bought the last of that item just recently. Upon you arrival you find she is currently being held captive by kobolds in the kitchen of the pub. From here you have a variety of options, such as negotiating with the kobolds, threatening the kobolds, busting up the barrier and killing the kobolds or just robbing the old man in the far corner of the pub while everyone is distracted.
