Shadowkeeper. What´s wrong anyway??

Discussion in 'BG2: Shadows of Amn (Classic)' started by Melkhior, Jun 27, 2001.

    ok, now... It´s like this.
Everybody can use SK. Except me.
    why?
When I doubleklick on the Shadowkeeper.exe icon, a text comes up. It is roughly translated to this:
    Shadowkeeper.exe - Can´t find the start- address.
    (that´s the "topic")
    Then it continues:
Can´t find the procedure start address ImageList_DrawIndirect in the DLL-file COMCTL32.DLL

    What´s WRONG!?
Why doesn´t it work for me!??!

[IMG] The thing I promised not to mention ever doesn't working? You're just lucky. I mean it. It's probably a ward against bugs installed on your PC.

Anyway, why do you need it?
Try IEEP from TeamBG place instead (see links section here) it is a far better.

I need it for my hp. It needs to get higher. I can´t stand that Korgan amongst others have more than me. :)

    What´s an IEEP?

[Melkhior - You are being very naughty today. Posting multiple threads with the same question and now double posting; knock it off. BTA]

Grr another double-post... are you an half-orc that you can't reach an Intelligence of 3? You don't learn fast. :(

IEEP is Internet Explorer. The message you get means that Shadow Keeper is no longer on the place of the HD where the link refers at.... Just download it again, create the map Shadowkeeper in your BG2 map and run the program again and it will work.

    [IMG] *sigh*

IEEP is Infinity Engine Editor Pro - one of standard TeamBG tools needed for those who want to massacre the game inside.

What more HP? What got into this people...

Headbanger: Nope. Still doesn´t work. I downloaded it again. This time from Sorcerer´s place. But no. The program still hates me. :)
Extremist: Accually, I´m feeling irritated. It might have to do with that I had at least 20 hp more the last time I played, and I can´t stop thinking about it. I think I´m going insane? :p
    Perhaps I already am. . .

all you need to do is update your dll files, What is so hard to understand about an out of date syntax, out of date=to old , go get a new one from a dll library just run asearch for that particular dll.

Headbanger when you have no clue as to what is being discussed don't try to give advice cause you were so of target it was pathetic, not even funny.

and Extremist these 2 couldn't handle IEEP, to advanced for them, besides IEEP need updated dll's too, so we'd end up with my IEEP isn't working

[IMG] Actually all you need to do is to re-install the game and delite all characters and savegames. Start a new char and stop bothering us about this one. I don't think 20 HP is that inportant. BG2 was really easy remember? You should be able to finish it with 20 HP less .

COMCTL32.DLL is a part of WinAPI, AFAIK, and seems to me, ye have a corrupted one. The reason might be an illegal copy of dll; illegal copy of windows; bad user, who messes up with core ddls without knowledge of what they do (unlikely, ye need to comprehend something about dlls to even have an idea to mess with them, and considering what Headbanger said of ye, ye are not the one, nope)
    Reinstall Win, be happy :)
