The listed quotes are made by Sikret on his own BWL forum.

Really? Please, give us a full list of which exactly IA 5.0. battles are impossible to win by a solo 40/40/40 character?
If anyone else except Sikret has a question about a particular IA battle, solo-style, feel free to express your doubts. Just name me the battle(s) in question.

Please, again, tell us, killing cheesily(under Timestop effect) which exactly enemies will cause what bugs in the game? In all my experience with at least 10 finished Anvil games, I've never had problems with a certain 'non-appearing' item in an enemy's inventory. I use off-screen Timetrapping and Timestopping, and yet each time manage to assemble all of the items in the Item Randomizer menu. But of course, this could be some extremely rare bug.

Here's the link to the subsequent topic, and a post in it, made by a person under the nickname Sikret1:

    http://forums.blackwyrmlair.net/index.php?showtopic=4316

I hope I don't break any forum rules with this link.
First of all - it is not my post. However, I can easily be framed on the BWL forums, where my accounts are banned and even if I can make any posts, they are immediately deleted - in about one minute. I have my own guesses who wrote this one, judging by the writing style. However, my question about this quote is a much more simple one - how can a guest (Sikret1 in this particular case) write a post at the BWL forums? Seems very strange, since only forum members or moderators can actually post - guests cannot. Sikret or Baronius, please explain.

There are certain questions about certain 'non-cheating according to Sikret' Anvil monsters:

    1. How can the Shadow Dragon in the Temple Ruins actually fire Spell Trigger and Spell Sequencer while Frozen in Time?

    2. How can certain dragons like the Green Wyrm in Watcher's Keep level 3 have a Spell Turning (lvl 7 spell) stored in their Spell Trigger?

    3. Why Layene in the Anvil's Twisted Rune encounter cannot be killed under a starting combination of, let's say, True Sight + Time Stop + melee strikes, although damage which has been dealt to her is several times greater than her health total? This strategy may be easily deployed by a normal, 6-person party in chapter 6.

And just when did you figure that continuing a mud-throwing contest started at the BWL forums here on the BoM was a good idea?

I don't really think a lot of people give a flying.... about you and Sikret's controversies around here to be honest.

I think that you misunderstand. I don't see such a contest here - I'm simply asking several questions about the Improved Anvil mod, which of course are best if answered by the mod's creator, but may be answered by other people as well. Same goes about the question concerning the BWL topic.

Also, considering this forum's rules about insults, flames and so on, I guess that this discussion's tone (if Sikret joins of course) will be kept civil.

Just leave Sikret and IA alone saros, you can't save the world anyway. With Sikret it's like with George W. Bush as in either you are with us or you're against us ;) Play your game and enjoy it, don't let other destroy that for you.

Okay, I might be in the wrong here, but to be honest this hardly seems like an invitation to everyone to join in on an open debate about IA but rather a post specifically targeted at Sikret and the BWL administration; and from what I can pick up in that link you provided it does indeed seem like a mud-throwing contest had been occurring where you and Sikret accused one another of lying. Don't get me wrong here, I'm neither defending Sikret nor IA (to be honest I don't really care what you think of it - or anyone for that matter), I just don't see the point of posting it here rather than directing it at the one whom I believe you are really asking these questions. If he don't want to discuss or take into regard your questions and concerns about his mod why not just let it go and not play IA?

Well, as far as I know, not only Sikret, but also Baronius and Raven, and probably some other of the BWL administrators frequently visit this forum, and might decide to answer my question concerning that particular BWL post. Besides, I doubt that Sikret will answer any of my questions here on this forum, but other people - IA players or BWL moderators - might. This answers your question to why didn't I post this directly to Sikret in PM - he simply will not answer.

In addition, there may be other people who will benefit from the answers of my questions besides me - that's why I decided to make it an open discussion here for more people to see.

If you have other questions and doubts, feel free to express them.

For now, let's see if someone would try to answer my questions.

[IMG] Well, isn't it nice to find out that I just wasted my time responding to saros' e-mail in detail (I haven't seen this thread until just now). He's actually mailed me prior to posting this here, vaguely describing what he intended to post and asked me whether it would be deleted or not. I might as well post my response:

    Hello,

for starters, it'd be helpful if you'd reveal who you are. Are you a mod maker?

We hardly ever delete posts unless they seriously violate our forum rules. But obviously I can't say in advance what we would do with any given post until I've actually had the opportunity to read it. We've had major headaches due to the IE modder wars on our forums and we've been doing our best to put a stop to it for some time now. So naturally we're careful when it comes to posts on this subject and what you've described sounds more like something you'd want to post on BWL's forums.

So my first question would be why you'd want to post this on BoM over BWL? As for the post itself, if you want my take on it, put it together and send it to me and I can give you my opinion on it. Until I actually have the text in front of me I can't offer you anything but speculation, which wouldn't be at all helpful.

However, I see that an hour after mailing me, he's just posted what he wanted here, without bothering to wait for my response. And now that I've seen what he's wanted to post, I'm not going to delete it, I'll just lock this thread. I will not play the judge in this matter. If I were Sikret I wouldn't respond to such a thread posted on another forum, so there is no point in keeping this topic open. saros, please don't attempt to transfer quarrels from the BWL over to our forums again.
