We at SP no longer search for Extraterrestials, we have found them and they post regularly on these boards. :D On the serious side, I am sure that there are many here who would like to participate in your group, just not sure why they haven't responded.

Well, I'd be in for sure, though I probably wouldn't be able to do anything right now as my only access is through Public Access at the local Library.

I have actually seen what I think was a UFO and have a strange light in a photo which I'm trying to get ID'd.

Hey I run it, I don't know if it will do anything, but if someone wants my help I'm happy to give it-and there's a lot of work for those guys to slug through so if a fella like me has a lot of free time then why not?

It does everything itself, all you have to do is set it up, and then every time a screen saver would have appeared it does computations instead. Nt a bad idea, I reccomend everyone to pitch in :)

I've been thinking about this for quite some time for one reason or another I never got to downloading it. I just did and after posting, I will install it and aid in the search for life in a galaxy far, far away... :tie:

Since there are more known stars than there are sand corns on earth, I won't rule out that life does not exist elsewhere while our civilisation peek. And I do think that exploring races(like our own) must have existed somewhere else in space in the billions of years.

But unless they are able to bend space and travel in wormholes or are nomadic races who have been travelling for million of years, there are no "simple" physical ways they can travel these distances. Aliens will either A) want to be seen by humans or B) they won't. If they master spacetravel, bending space or some other amazing technology I am sure our pathetic Seti program won't aid us in finding races that wouldn't want to be seen, unless UFO's crash or suffer fatal errors in which case we don't need SETI anyway just the naked eye.
