    I've never came across any reference to this besides vague hints so I'll ask here ...

    Does anybody know exactly what Akachi did for Ser'ryu the Blue Dragon such that she feels obligated to help him crusade after crusade, even centuries in waiting?

    The only thing I got from the story was Ser'ryu agreed to defend the gate to the City of Judgement from reinforcements coming to the city's defense during the first Crusade, but it was over before that could be fulfilled. Since Akachi was still around, the agreement went unfulfilled until he could return.

    Wasn't Akachi sent to kill him, but didn't? Or did I just make that up? I don't remember fully, but for some reason that sounds right... Or maybe I'm completely delusional... I haven't played it through a second time yet...
