Well, I've encountered my first game-stopping glitch midway through ToB. I entered the room with Dyushkai (sp?) and paused immediately to reconnoiter. Spotting the priestess, I attacked. Her conversation then triggered. After the conversation, I managed to hit her once for 69 HP before she teleported, turning her hostile. Once she disappeared, I headed into Ogremoch's room to deal with him. I lured the elementals into the main room one by one. Ogremoch rudely turned my main char unconscious when I went in to lure him; at this point I left it on pause for a day and a half real time. Not sure why that would affect anything, but just in case. When I finally made it back, I killed Ogremoch, and then repeated the process on the NW room. To my surprise, Dyushkai failed to meet her appointment, and the N door was still locked. I checked the walkthrough to make sure I had not done anything wrong. Vampire, Demon Knight, Hive Mother, Abishai all showed up, but no priestess to be found. I am using no third party patches at the moment.

*BLANK* I just realized I'm also not using the ToB patch. I'll have to try to reinstall that. Unfortunately I do not have a previous save to go to. *BLANK* *BLANK* any suggestions?

You could always use the Console...at least I don't consider it cheating if you're stuck...and don't directly affect any enemies or heal party...

I have used the Console before.... but not sure what exactly I would do here. Would creating Dyushkai and killing her cause the door to unlock? What is the monster code for Dyushkai anyway?

Let that be a lesson not to attack non hostile characters :p It can mess up a game nicely, as evidenced here. Wish I could help, but...ummm, I've never experienced a glitch quite like that. How did you make it that far without a previous save game to go to? I am kinda baffled and pretty impressed.

Just made use of the Auto-Saves, actually... unfortunately I ran around looking for her when she didn't show up, and auto-save has put me in trouble now. Anywayz, I think I'm justified in launching a pre-emptive strike on a drow priestess when I know I'm in a drow Bhaalspawn's lair. It's not my fault the game doesn't think so.......

    Try this:
    CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Dyushkai")

    Good luck!

    What the heck is "senkey03"?

Not that it matters, as I managed a workaround anyway. As I suspected, Diaytha (yes, that's what her name actually is, doh) does not have her own name-code. I tried a few other combinations (drow##, send##, plot##), no such luck. Then it occurred to me I could simply warp to the next area. Game has progressed normally since that point (I'm now in Abazigal's Lair), although I did miss out on the Darksteel shield. :(
