I'm playing with a 6 man party and one of them is a an aasimar paladin that I plan to multi-class into a sorcerer later on, the problem is that I wanted to reach up to the 6th level of paladin spells, but the paladin only gains spell casting at level 4 and mine's at level 12 already and I started him off with a fighter at four levels, so that makes him fighter(4) paladin(8).

My point is if I want to have all paladin spells does it mean that I have to level him up to character level 28? If so then I wouldn't have enough levels left to create a decent sorcerer. What's your suggestion? I need help, thanks. :)

Paladin's don't even gain level 6 spells until level 29. Which means with your current build, you can only get the Pally to level 26. Frankly, Paladin spells aren't anything spectacular, and the simple fact that they even get 5th and 6th level spells is due to BIS's best attempts at adapting the 3E rules to incorporate levels 21-30 before the Epic Level Handbook came out. Paladin's are only SUPPOSED to get up to 4th level spells.
Anyways, point is, if you really want to get all 6 levels of Paladin spells, then it's really rather pointless to even multiclass him at all. But, in my opinion, if you're that concerned about the spells your Paladin can cast, then you don't really understand Paladins very well. :)
If your intention is to muilticlass him to Sorceror, then do it asap. The only reason to take Paladin levels beyond the first 1-3 is for the additional HP and BAB. Aside from that, it's a front loaded class. Spells are mediocre, and they don't get to cast that many. The Paladin's best ability, Divine Grace, takes effect with only 1 level, so there's no ned to go further.
BTW, if you've already taken 4 levels of fighter, and are now a Paladin, then as soon as you take a Sorc level you'll gain a 20% XP penalty. You do know that, right?

Forget about the spellcasting mate...with your present levels, it is nigh impossible...

[IMG] Hey man thanks for the advice, I am aware of the exp penalty, I just thought that gaining all paladin spell levels was cool eventhough you can say that the spells sucked. Anyway I think I'm gonna take your advice and multi-class him to sorcerer a.s.a.p. :)
