Does anyone who posts on SP have any scars? If so, please, tell us the tale! I have one that will blow you all away, but I am going to wait.

[IMG] A girl named Laurie...She broke my heart. ;)

I do have 3 scars though:

    1) A strawberry shaped scar from jumping a ramp on my bike when I was 11. I got a nice deep gash on my knee - it's still there!

    2) a scar on the under part of my arm near my quadraceps or are they deltoids?? - Anyway, a chandelier in my house broke when I was playing ball in the house, the glass cut into the back of my arm when I was running away. Another 10-11 year old incident.

    3) A 3-inch cut on my forearm from a razor blade. I was a bouncer in a bar in college, and tried to break up a fight. I bear hugged the guy to immobilize his arms, and he used a razor to cut me as I did it. I disarmed him by breaking his wrist on the bar, and knocked him out with a punch to the face and 2 to the body.

We were in the hospital together getting stitched up when he told me that I broke his writst, nose and 2 ribs. I told him he's lucky he's still alive for pulling a deadly weapon on me! He tried to sue me and the bar in court, but the suit was thrown out...Apparently the judge agreed...And my legal career was born! ;)

Bel ... I've said it before, but its true ... "YOU'RE MY HERO!!!!"

My scars aren't nearly as cool.

Had my appendix removed, but the doctors couldn't find it (it was up behind my liver) so the scar on the bottom part of my stomach is almost a foot long.

I was a short order cook and a piece of metal from a deep frier fell onto my arm, the result is a nice 3 inch long 1/2 inch wide scar from the 3rd degree burn.

I have a small scar on my right cheek (on my face silly!), it fits right in my dimple.

[IMG] What can I say Math?...I've had an interesting life so far! I've never had anything removed - I still have all my original parts! :D ;) :p

I also forgot about one more...I have a pencil point that has been stuck in my hand since third grade!!! Not much of a scar, but you can still see the point when you look at my hand!

The only one worth mentioning is one on my knee. The moral of this scar is don't go frisbeeing on wet gras amongst tents set up with herrings (or whatever the word for those things is in english).

I used to have a cheesecake scar on my left elbow. I pulled a cheesecake out of the oven and the springform pan burst open and spilled boiling sugar and cheese all over my arm. I had a bright red puckered patch, where the oven-mitt ended, for years. I was kind of disappointed when it faded away, it made such a great story.

One guy in the army here entered "nun bite" under his "Scars and Identifying marks" section. His sister bit him when she was seven, leaving a scar, and now she's a nun. I thought that was the best scar story I ever heard!

I have a scar on my knee. I got it once when I was playing paintball. I jumped for cover behind a rock, and there was a sharp stick sticking out of the ground. To people who ask I say the scar is my war-wound... :D

I have one on my left arm where I got my BCG turburculosis injection - it's round and a centimetre across. :p

Other than that, I'm a kid with perfect complexion. :D

EDIT: oooh, wait, I've got a load on my scalp under my hair, where I rode into a fence on my bike. Plus my ex scratched me on my arm the other day, and I think that's gonna develop into a scar.

    I hear ya, Silverblade, buddy.

I've got a scar on my knee. I fell from a bycicle when I was a kid. Can't remember it though.

I also got a scar on my arm. Damn, women with their long nails.

Now that I have heard your scars, I think that I should tell you my own. I have a scar about two or three centimetres long. How, you ask? From chess club. What is this I hear? How in the name of God do you get a scar from chess club? Easy. Flying chess boards really can hurt.

Sir Yerril, if you lived in the States, you'd have have to be at least 45 years old.

Other than that, I've got one on the underside of my wrist. I put some desicant in the oven to dry it out, and burned myself on the little metal cap when I took it out. I guess the oven glove I was using had a think coat of oil on it, and the thing just slipped.

Well, I have some fun burn scars - both self-imposed:
One on my left arm that looks like an archery target - car cigarette lighters hurt!!
One on my left hand that looks like a smiley face - from a BIC lighter - you know you all did it once!!

    Non-burn scars:
One on my right shoulder - i got "pierced" in a mosh pit by some idiot's spiked glove!!
Another on my right thigh - got in a fight and someone tried to stab me (in the gut), but i moved and it glanced off into my thigh - not a deep wound, but it is a cool curvey scar!!

(Guessing from the AK-47 & the Afgan war in the late 70's ... back when the USA was training Osama Bin Ladin ... what a world)

I thought you said you never saw any action worth mentioning ... bulletholes usually are worth mentioning! :good:

[IMG] I have a few scars...

A scar on my chest where my rabbit Phoebe(rip) scrabbled when there was a loud bang and i was holding her.

Several scars on my head where I was attacked with staple guns.

A scar (almost faded, yay!) across my neck where someone though it was funny to draw a blade.

A scar on my arm from when I was pushed and burnt myself on a poker.

A scar on my hip where a car reversed into me, Damn bad driver, if I wasn't there he'd have hit the wall!

And I have *plenty* of emotional scars, but I won't go there :p
