There are feats that increase the saving throws of particular types:
    Will
    Fortitude
    Reflex
There may be a few more.
Do these saving throws increase with your character level?
Is it worth it to use feats to increase these types of saving throws? I know some items increase them.

Yes, a character's Reflex bonus, Fortitude bonus and Will bonus do increase with levels.

I think of those bonuses just like AC (in the absence of spell resistance). The higher they are, the better. It's extremely frustrating to see your two front line fighters being "held" or "stunned" because they have a weak Will bonus.

Every class has at least one "good" bonus out of the three, meaning it will increase more rapidly than the other two as the character levels up. Some classes have all three bonuses "good", like the monk, for example. Also, a Paladin gets to add his Charisma bonus to each of the 3 bonuses.

So yes, I tried to maximize these bonuses by taking all the feats that give +2, and sometimes some of the feats that gave +1 and something else, provided that the something else was also useful for the character, like concentration for a spellcaster. None of my characters had an ability score lower than 10. And all my humans had the Luck of Heroes feat.

[IMG] I'm quite the opposite of Quint then, since I never take any of the Feats that improve saves. :)

Yes, they will increase as level increases. So, for this reason and the fact that they just add a tiny 1 or 2 to saving throw, i don't really fancy choosing these feats. Furthermore, there are spells that counter the bad effect so increasing saving throw isn't that crucial, at least for me.

I find that Iron Will has helped me immensely. I get so tired of my characters getting charmed all of the time. Yes, I know that there are spells that counter-act these effects, but when my casters are the ones that get charmed, I'm SOL. Maybe +2 isn't all that much, but +2 is better than +0.
