    [​IMG] As you might know, our collection for the new boards was a raging success, which means that we will be upgrading to the new boards by the end of this week, if all goes according to plan. While practically everything will transfer to the new boards (avatars & portraits will need to be set up anew after the upgrade, and mostly likely a bit differently), the private messages WILL NOT TRANSFER. Once the upgrade is complete, a new PM system will be used, and you will not be able to access any of the PMs you sent or received on this version of the boards.

    Point being, keep using the PMs but know that by the end of this week, you won't be able to access any old ones any more. So if you have something important in any of them, I suggest you either save the htmls or copy/paste the text somewhere. You have been warned!

    [​IMG] There aren't that many new features that I didn't already hack onto these boards... Not many that regular users will notice anyway. Admins is another issue. Most importantly, it has a totally integrated private messaging system, allows users to make polls... That sort of thing. And it has most of the extra stuff that I've added to this one over the years, the difference is, it's there officially, not as a hack - which means it's tested out thoroughly. Anyway, the list of new features is pretty long. Guess you'll just have to wait and see. ;)

    And no Kitrax, the user records won't be touched, you'll still have the same number of posts and all that.

    Yeah Thanks Tal! I would have given money if i hadn't been on holiday, which i am now off again on in the morning so no time to ask more than one question:

    As i am not here for a couple of weeks does this mean that i will lose my new portrait?
