I was wondering if you could get a character of Sarevok or at least get armor like him

What stats does his sword and armour have btw?

i just found a download for him on this site can he be used as your main character and can you find his kind of armor

 

You can find his two-handed sword, and his armor throughout the game. As for himself...try ToB, and see if you find something more.

I've been looking for Sarevoks armor before but so far I've got no luck. I've checked mods and asked around on forums such as this and the closest I've got is something like "it was meant to be in the game but they put that idea to the trash can".

 

The sword you get from the Efreeti in Irenicus' dungeon but I've never found the armour. Unfortunately the sword has lost most of its powers since Sarevok used it himself in BG1 and just functions as a +2 two-handed sword. But I hear there's a mod that gives it extra powers for later in the game.

 

It´s a Djinni (sp?), not an Efreeti.
Never knew that was Sarevoks old sword though.

Also, if Sarevoks armor would be in the game you would be able to find it in SK´s IB.
But it´s not there, so Sarevoks armor is not in BG2.

can downloaded characters be used as the main character because i found a download for Sarevok here http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_editors2.php

 

But then there must be a reason why the creators of the game only put the sword in BG2, and not his other equipment, maybe they put a secret in BG2 or TOB.
(Makes me think about the quest in BG1, where you had to do a lot of things to get Balduran's equipment)

 

Why does there have to be a reason? Maybe they just decided to give you his sword as a pretty decent +2 weapon early in the game. There doesn't have to be an ulterior motive to it.

 

I wouldn't say that. But, unfortunatly, that's all I can say...

 

Maybe the Twisted Rune are behind it.

They seem to be the favoured scapegoat on these boards for everything in BG that can't be explained one way or another. My theory is that they swiped the armour and hid it somewhere that no one would ever find because they knew how much it would annoy people.

 

well i think david w is a russian spy trying to sabatouge (sp...) trying to make all of us other people lose our minds by looking for this fake armor that sarevok wore, and it turns out that that was his skin.........bad burn incident earlier on in his life..... boiling water and his mother, she thought that hitting him was bad, so she boiled him medievil style!

 

That heals you everytime you hit something with it. It's not just a regular two-handed sword.

Sarevok's armor is not in the game, nor was there ever any intention of putting it in.

 

You sure it's in Item Upgrade? There's nothing about it in the readme.

I think it's in Ascension.

 

There's nothing about the sword in the Item Upgrade mod. I've had it with me when I've visited Cromwell and no option to have it upgraded has ever appeared.
