[IMG] I've completed BG1 many times with all manner of parties but now I am doing it again with tutu installed.

For role-playing reasons I chose to take both Imoen and Safana - Imoen is dualed to Mage and Safana was going to take over as Thief. But with tutu installed her skills are misplaced into Detect Illusion and her weapon proficiency is weak too. So a decent npc from the original game is now much weaker than before. It won't matter in the long run because it is easy to finish the game even with a weak party but it hasn't worked out like I expected. I wonder if anyone would get much advantage in BG1 from using detect Illusion?

You dispel mirror images right away, other than that I don't think there's too much use in BG Tutu.

You can use ShadowKeeper to edit your followers.

Caradhras is right, Detect Illusions isn't much use in BG1. You'd be best just using Shadowkeeper to modify her in order to get the points somewhere useful.

[IMG] I'm role-playing so changing the stats is not in the spirit of things. Everyone in my party is a spellcaster so I can be creative with Sanctuary and Knock.
Safana is now dualled to Mage (used a Tome) - she and Imeon look like twin sisters.

If I ever had a Cleric/Thief then I guess they could do Detect Illusion while in Sanctuary in much the way that it works for Detect Traps. But it's not the sort of tactic that goes well in the heat of battle, it might be better to use it just before attacking.

I like the way BG1 allowed you to dual class characters with tomes. I once dualled Xzar into a cleric (fun with animate dead) and it was a lot of fun too.

Detect Illusions may not be the best pick for Tutu but it's not out of character for Safana. Besides Mirror Images are annoying when you've got to waste hits and Magic Missiles to get rid of them. Detect Illusions is totally unnecessary and it just speeds that up (it really shines at higher levels in SoA).
