Installing the bg2 tweaks one of the options it said was something about romance race options? I forget what exactly it said. Do you have to be a specific race in order to get the romances going on? I'm a gnome DD. Will I still be able to romance? Mazzy should think I'm sexy. To bad you can't romance her. Lol.
They should have done a LOT more involving the romances so that you could romance more than just the 3 females and the 1 male. Why can't you romance Haer Dalis'? He hits on Aerie all the time. Why not you? :p

It doesn't add any new romances, just unlocks all of the existing ones for all races.
Out of all the original NPC's, only Aerie will romance (male) Gnome Player Characters.
Viconia will be the only romance option for half-orcs in the enhanced edition (was intended to work but bugged in the original bg2), but she won't romance elves. She seems to be fine with half-elves though, weirdly enough.
Dwarves of either gender can't romance any of them, same thing for female gnomes. :(

Aerie: Will only romance male PC's of the following races : gnome, human, elf, half-elf or halfling.
Jaheira: Will only romance male PC's of the following races : human, elf, half-elf, halfling
Viconia: Will only romance male PC's of the following races : human, half-elf, halfling (and half-orc in the EE)
Anomen: Will only romance female PC's of the following races : human, half-elf, elf, halfling

If you install the "No racial requirements" tweak, they will all romance any race, though gender restrictions still apply, unless you also install the "No gender requirement" part of the tweak.

The newly added NPC's in the enhanced edition don't have the race restrictions by default, but still have preferences for gender(without installing the teak to remove them) :

Rasaad will only romance female PC's.
Dorn will romance both a male or female PC.
Neera will only romance male PC's.
Hexxat will only romance female PC's.
