Romance choice...

Currently sitting looking at the screen with the choice of Viconia or Jaheira. Have heard that it is possible, ultimately, to get Viconia to convert to a good alignment. If so, I am tempted to pursue this romance as opposed to Jaheira. Can it be done? And when-will it only occur in throne of bhaal?

Jaheira's is the longest, most detailed and rewarding of all in the game. Ask beren.

Well, have gone for Viconia in the end-Jaheira next time. Far as I'm aware, the only difference is how long you have to wait for Elminster to arrive after you leave the underdark. As long as I can still get the harper pin, i'm not too worried. Cheers.

 

You don't need to choose: patch them with 'concurrent romances' and you can have them both.

As to Viconia changing aligment, it is not worth it, really. Felt a bit rushed and the requirments for it to happen are a bit strange too.

 

But still Bodhi has only one heart so you can cure only one lady (unless you cheat)
BTW current romance is known for it's bugs

 

And her alignment changes to TN, not to any good alignment.

 

Ah well, 'tis done now. Was gonna download concurrent romance, but it had been taken off because of bugs.

What do you mean? I downloaded it yesterday and it works well.

 

That's pretty much impossible unless ur not in a relationship cuz you can't just skip that part with bodhi

oohhh and btw yeah i was kina disappointed with viconia's allignment change cuz it happened so suddenly, and without even that much of a conversation... and then she couldn't use her talos symbol... but at least she won't leave cuz of reputation

 

I did read somewhere that you also have the option to first get the "romance" of the NPC in question, and THEN you kick them, so it won't affect the romance in a negative way.

 

IIRC, if you kick you lover out of the party, it kills the romance.

As for the heart thingy, if you put both bodies in the statue, then the heart, both you're (modded) lovers will be resurected. I have never had a problem with the multi-romonce section of the EoU mod.

 

oh well...

BTW, I did have the multi romance patch installed and after getting all 3 ladies, Bodhi kidnapped only Aerie. In ToB (after beating Irenicus), only Aerie started the love talk.

PS: If you want "happy romantic endings", go for Aerie or Jaheira. Viccy's romantic ending sux big time...(see spoiler below marked as *)

IMO, if you're a power gamer (a power gamer doing romantic quests!?), go for Jaheira, since she won't drop like a fly in combat (and we ALL know happens if a romantic partner dies in combat!).

Roleplay wise,....it's up to you. I personally like Aerie if I'm playing an Evil character (Aerie will do an Amidala moment. Eg: Hold me CHAR NAME. Hold me like you did in Naboo).

I installed the multi-romance in SoA and "got" all three ladies. By the time I confronted Bodhi however, she only kidnapped Aerie. When I went on to TOB, only the Aerie love talks kicked off.

 

I meant Viconia. Has anyone romanced her in ToB?
(Come on, people, I know there are a lot of drow-lovers out there )

re: Viconia romance in TOB, yep...I pursued it. And yep, I was VERY disappointed by her "romantic" ending (she's better off in her "normal" ending; she earns the respect of the Elves you helped in SoA, considering she's drow and all).
