[IMG] Reading the SK item browser list I found a ring of protection +3 "ring of the keeper" (ring41) listed there. Having played ToB once I can't remember to have found it anywhere (and especially not in Watcher's keep; maybe because it actually just looks like a +2 one).
Is it findable or some NPC equipment, let's say, for elminster ?

PS: I apologize for such a weird topic, but aynway, the search engine didn't give me any useful info about this and I am curious ;)

[IMG] I could have swore that was one of things Cespenar could upgrade, but it's not on the list. Well apparently you can get a Ring of Protection +3 if you pull the 'Key' card from the Deck of Many Things.

  3. Well who cares for those stupid items they create in SK. Most of them are copies that crash your games.

[IMG] AFAIK, the Deck of Many things is the only way to get the Ring of Protection +3. Note that this does not mean playing the game with the Cambion.

Why do people get so uptight about any mention of ShadowKeeper on these boards? He just used it to view the item list, sheesh!

Anyway Ring of Protection +3 can only be got from the Deck of Many Things. Have a look at the last post by Lokken here...

That'll explain how to get it.

[IMG] Sk isn't all that bad, it can be a useful tool on osme occassions, especially if you have quest problems and need to look at some of the Globals that have been set.

i can't see the problem there to be honest!

  9. What the hell is wrong with SK?!?!?! Oh *sure* if you cheat *too* much it will crash your game, but I don't use SK anymore unless I want more money to buy crappy stuff or to change the colors of my clothing. *I* use the item list because it is better than trying to find a site with all the items.

[IMG] Must every thread that mentions Shadowkeeper degenerate into a debate over its merits/flaws? This thread had nothing to do with SK other than for Ragusa to point out how he found out there was a Ring of Protection +3.

Stick to the topics people! It makes it easier for people to actually get answers to their questions instead of wading through post after post of irrelevancy. :shame:

Indeed, as said, the RIng of Protection +3 is not upgraded by Caspenar, but can be obtained by pulling the Key card from the Deck of Many Things.

Well about the SK dicussion, it is a good program and have some good uses and many bad uses. You can use it the right way but also many use it the wrong way, to become even more powerfull. I hate that. Don't cheat, the game is already easy enough and cool enough. (actually it is cooler without cheating.)
