[IMG] I would like to know if anyone has done or know about anyone reverse engineering BG. I am working on a pet project and need help figuring out how Black Isle colored the inventory figures. I can get the hair, skin, major, minor, and fixed colors, but, where the colors meet, they seemed to blend the colors together somehow. Any info would be appreciated.

Reverse engineering would be illegal. I do know there is one group that is trying to create a new IE compatible engine. They might know sometihng of it.

Information on the file structure of Infinity Engine games can be found at http://iesdp.gibberlings3.net - the IE clone project the previous poster referred to is called GemRB.
