Can anyone provide me with any links/resources on the following issues?

    The Holocaust

The Berlin Wall and the Cold War

    The Vietnam War

    The Korean War

    Ethnic cleansing in East Europe

    The 1st Gulf War

    2nd Gulf War

I need some more concrete background knowledge on these conflicts for a poem I'm working on.

No opinions are required or requested! :p

    Thanks!

The poem, when completed will most likely be satanic/evil/hateful/malicious, etc, etc to the stupid, but it will not be posted in SP so no one has to worry about it.

Well, the only things I know about The Holocaust is from Schindler's Ark (more detailed than Schindler's List). That MAY help I guess, if you're prepared to wade through most of it to get a better picture.

Shura, between an average European and an average American history book, you can learn a great deal about all of those events. Don't you have one of each of those lying on your bookshelf?

    I know I do...

I always found it odd that in Melbourne there is a museum dedicated to the holocaust. Even though it didn't happen in Australia, or near it for that matter. And we had our own little bout of ethnic cleansing that the government hasn't bothered to acknowledge.

    Just my two cents.

Actually, I needed the info on the Cold War and Ethnic Cleansing more.

    BTW: Thanks, Mal.

The best all-purpose site on the web to begin any researh work is here.

There are lots of links, as well as reccomendations for other subjects to search under. Wikipedia also has a high degree of reliability, as well as some info that you just won't find in the conventional encyclopedia sites.

    Hope this helps.

    @ Baezlebub

As a matter of fact, I think that Holocaust museums are quite common. We have one in Baltimore as well - and a Holocaust Memorial as well. We're thousands of miles away from where it was going on too.
