    When re-installing, are the old save files still there, or does the de-install take them too?

    If so I really should have backed them up, even if back-up's are for wuzzes :)

    Cool, just wanted to have a look at importing some of my faves from BG1 to 2, then realised I'd de-installed 1.

    Now I shall meet them again. :)

    You can best still make a backup, this is how to do that:

    - Go to My Computer
    - Go to C:
    - Go Program FIles
    - Go to Black Isle
    - Go to Baldur's Gate
    - Go to Save
    - Copy the map and paste it in a nother folder

    note, copy it to a: when you are going to reinstall the whole pc ;)
