No, you learn up to level 4 spells I think. There are many Temples where you can raise dead someone for not too much coins.

If you take off the experience cap you get raise dead at level 9.

[IMG] Sure you have to remove the cap? I think I got raise dead on my cleric without using the cap remover.

Yes, Raise Dead is a level 5 spell that you can't get until you reach 9th level:)

Does TotSC allow clerics to get to level 9? Maybe that was it...

No, it allows clerics to get to level 8. Druids, on the other hand, can get to level 10, if I remember correctly. But they don't get raise dead...

[IMG] Since a cleric in my BG 1 game obviously won't reach a level high enough to be able to raise dead, will I be able to buy scrolls of raise dead?

The reason I'm asking, is that my party is still rather low level (levels 3-4), and I often get party members killed in fights. Everytime this happens, they have to pick up the things from that character and carry along with their own stash (usually just below their weight limit already, and usually backpacks are already filled up with loot) until we get to a temple (which is usually far away)... and we usually have to leave some gear behind.. I hate that. A scroll of raise dead would be sooo practical... ;)

Don't think you'll find many scrolls of raise dead in the game. I always reload if one of my characters die. Just save often.

How did you do that Cog Primius? I just max leveled her and didn't see any level 5 spells in her book:confused:

I sometimes save... but Raise Dead at a temple isn't expensive at low levels and you can afford it easily at higher levels.... There are many temples in the game.....

You can reload every time... you can also play some more carefull and resurrect when someone died.... That's why I like D&D so much.... you cannot save and load... wich makes the game more exciting.... for then you have a problem when you die.
