Questions on unseeing eye quest

Discussion in 'BG2: Shadows of Amn (Classic)' started by The Amazing Ooopah, Oct 23, 2000.

  1. [IMG] I have just ditched Jaheira for Keldorn, and I'm about to do the unseeing eye quest. My party are all around level 8 or so. I wanna know if my party is too low level to take on the beholders etc. Also, if I do have to wait till later to do this quest, will Keldorn get pissed at me and leave? One last question, what chapter do u get the holy avenger in? Cheers for any help.

Well, the only beholder you'll *have* to kill in the quest is the unseeing eye himself, and that one will be "near death" after the first strike if you do the quest the right way. Any level party should be able to do that.
There are some more beholders in the caves, but they can be avoided and the quest still done.

Keldorn won't mind a bit it seems, I had him run along for an eternity before finally doing the unseeing eye.

The holy avenger can be obtained as early as ch.2, and can be found around the windspear hills area. I wouldn't count on yanking it from it's previous owner's... uh... "hands" with a level 8 party, though ;)
