Question about spell durations

    Which is longer a round or a turn?

    How many secs are there in a round or a turn?

    I usually see this in the "Duration" portion when reading the description of spells.

    A turn is 10 rounds.

    How long each is is a bit murky. I've seen 6 seconds to a round and also 1 minute to a round, so a turn would be either 1 minute or 10.

    Six seconds to a round, at least as the manual states.

    In the game world, a round is 1 minute, but BG2 compresses time by 1/10, so you experience a round as 6 seconds. This is also why an hour (for example) on the game clock doesn't actually take an hour of playing time.

    And, as BTA said, there are 10 rounds in a turn.
