question about slayer(kinda spoiler)

    I just got the abilty to turn into the slayer. Now it drops your rep by 2 each time....is there anytime where I SHOULD use that, because that seems like a bad trade.

    I think that's a matter of role playing more than "Is there a point in the game that is impossible without slayer."

    There are certain places in Underdark (that's all I'm saying) that require the slayer change, but you have other ways to get through the difficulty, too.

    But if your character has drunk every bottle of booze and slept with every prostitute this side of Whoville, then I'd guess his self-control is pretty weak and the slayer change would come up more often.

    Especially if his wisdom is low, I'd change more frequently.

    I have a priest, who is revolted by the whole situation, so he does not change unless absolutely necessary.

    [​IMG] In short: you can go through the entire game just fine without turning into a Slayer even once.
    I only did it once to see what it did... Never used it again.
