Question about Guncam and Windows Vista

    I've heard there's problems getting Guncam Crawler to run on Windows Vista, partly because Guncam requires the DivX codes to compress into .avi files. Now I'm comfortable using Guncam as it is, and I don't want to experiment with others, or pay for anything else. But I'm having an issue here:

    I try to compress the base .gcf files into .avi, and it almost gets there until it tries to compress the sound. Then I get an error message indicating ".avi sound bar won't progress", then the video is exported, but the sound is pure gibberish and really fast.

    Anybody have any ideas about this?
